  • Currently representing a multi-billion dollar national supplier of auto replacement parts in a significant action brought by an automobile manufacturer alleging copyright infringement relating to automotive software—a case that may have an enormous impact on the auto industry. 
  • Represented one of the country’s largest residential building material suppliers in successful defense of a $70 million breach of contract claim. Secured a complete defense verdict at trial and a significant opinion on New York law on prospective waiver under a relational contract, upheld twice on appeal by the New York state appellate courts. This significant decision will impact New York contract law and performance going forward.
  • Currently representing a former prime minister in the fierce litigation of a large civil forfeiture matter in which the United States seeks to forfeit our client’s worldwide assets. We have successfully narrowed and focused the claims through summary judgment motions. 
  • Currently representing an international produce grower and distributor in connection with a multi-district litigation in Florida accusing the company of funding leftist guerilla groups and a paramilitary group in order to do business. 
  • Represented a telecommunications provider in the successful defense of an $82 million lawsuit alleging breach of contract and fraud arising from the implementation of telecommunications infrastructure. Following a complete defense verdict, we won sanctions and attorneys’ fees for spoliation of evidence.  
  • Represented one of the world’s top defense contractors, in an arbitration proceeding before the American Arbitration Association where the claimant sought $100 million for alleged breach of a technology transfer agreement.
  • Represented a world leader in gases, technology and services for industry and health in Delaware ICDR arbitration concerning a large post-closing indemnification dispute. Following a significant discovery victory, we obtained a positive settlement on behalf of our client. 
  • Represented a prominent real estate developer with high-profile $200 million construction project, defeated injunction claims in Pennsylvania state court.
  • Represented hedge fund trader in payment dispute in FINRA arbitration, won significant award, plus punitive damages and attorneys’ fees.
  • Represented public chemical company, in defense of $300 million claim by partner in failed joint venture.
  • Represented one of the world’s largest equipment leasing companies, defeated $170 million software trade secrets lawsuit and obtained permanent injunction securing client’s intellectual property rights, followed by contempt order for violations of injunction. 
  • Represented biotechnology company in trade secrets dispute involving virus-based gene delivery—achieved settlement for no money on behalf of defendant after expedited discovery in federal court.
  • Represented one of the country’s largest lighting distributors in breach of contract and trademark infringement action—obtained multi-million dollar AAA arbitration award, confirmed by federal court.
