John P. Wixted

Biography

John focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, counseling clients on matters involving contract disputes and business torts, real estate, consumer class actions, mergers and acquisitions, professional liability, trade secrets and other intellectual property disputes, products liability defense, and appellate litigation. John has also provided pro bono representation to clients in prisoner civil rights matters and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Prior to joining Blank Rome, John clerked for the Honorable Ronald L. Buckwalter in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also worked as an intern for the Office of the General Counsel, Region III, of the Social Security Administration, and for the Honorable John J. Hughes in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

While earning his Juris Doctor at Rutgers School of Law, John served as editor-in-chief of the Rutgers Law Journal.
