Reena Jain

Biography

Reena Jain focuses her practice on business, entertainment and media, and intellectual property litigation, representing a broad range of clients, including award-winning musicians, social media influencers, fashion retailers, and cannabis and spirits companies.

Reena regularly guides clients through every stage of litigation and arbitration, from performing pre-suit evaluations, initiating suits, and aggressively pursuing discovery, to summary judgment, mediation, and trial on the merits. Her experience includes breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, copyright, defamation and SLAPP, patent, right of publicity, trademark, trade secret, and unfair competition litigation. She also negotiates, drafts, and reviews contracts, including talent agency, artist management, and sponsorship agreements.

During law school, Reena served as executive editor of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review and interned with both the United States Attorney’s Office and Tapestry, Inc. f/k/a Coach, Inc.

In 2023 and 2024, Reena was appointed to Law360’s Media & Entertainment Editorial Board, which is responsible for providing feedback on Law360’s coverage and expert insight on how best to shape future coverage.

Reena is a member of both the Media Law Committee and the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Reena is also committed to pro bono work and has volunteered with and on behalf of various organizations, including Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, the New York Legal Assistance Group, Lawyers for Good Government, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the G-Unity Foundation.
