Amanda M. Noonan

Biography

Amanda Noonan concentrates her practice on a wide range of corporate litigation matters.

Prior to joining Blank Rome, Amanda served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas L. Kirsch II of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Honorable Raymond W. Mitchell of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division.

During law school, Amanda was a member of the trial team and received numerous academic awards. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Carl A. Walker of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Tax & Misc. Remedies Division.

Outside the Firm

Amanda enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, and hiking.

Experience

  • Representing eighth-largest retailer in the United States in a putative Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”) class action involving allegations of the collection/possession of consumer facial template data in connection with virtual try-on technology
  • Representing nationwide cosmetics company in putative BIPA class action involving allegations of collection and possession of consumer facial template data in connection with client’s virtual try-on technology.
  • Representing a global power and energy engineering firm in coverage litigation arising out of asbestos bodily injury claims.
  • Represented correctional healthcare company in connection with coverage issue arising out of numerous litigation matters.
  • Represented retail company in connection with Covid-19 insurance coverage litigation.
