Avery I. Nagy-Normyle

Biography

Avery I. Normyle concentrates his practice on a wide range of commercial litigation matters. He handles all stages of complex litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations.

Avery has notable experience drafting pleadings; handling all aspects of lay, expert, and third-party discovery; drafting and enforcing subpoenas; enforcing judgments; handling various court conferences; negotiating and drafting settlement agreements; and liaising with clients and opposing counsel.

Avery previously served as a litigation associate at an international law firm, a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office, and a law department intern at the Long Island Railroad.

During law school, Avery served as a Senior Articles Editor of the St. John’s Law Review as well as a teaching and research assistant.

Outside the Firm

Avery enjoys spending time with his wife, two young sons, and corgi named “Frodo.”
