Biography

Greg Moore focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation matters, with a particular focus on business disputes and professional services litigation. 

He has significant experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation cases in state and federal court and in arbitrations conducted pursuant to FINRA, AAA, and CPR rules.

Experience

  • Represented a large oilfield services company in an arbitration claim for more than $100 million dollars related to an earnout agreement.
  • Represented multiple large energy companies in oil well failure cases for both economic damages and personal injuries.
  • Represented large pipeline companies in commercial and personal injury cases in state and federal court.
  • Represented a Fortune 50 home improvement store in Federal Court in defense of contractual indemnity claims related to a joint venture project.
  • Represented a large oilfield services company in a class action lawsuit in Federal Court under the Fair Labor Standards Act related to claims that employees were forced to work off the clock.
  • Represented attorneys in a legal malpractice case in state court.
  • Represented a refining company in state court litigation for an alleged breach of employment contract.
  • Represented a large nonprofit debt counseling service company in breach of contract lawsuits in state courts.
  • Represented stadium owners in Federal Court in defense of breach of contract claims.
  • Represented an alternative energy company in Federal Court in defense of breach of contract claims related to an energy project in Mexico.

Professional Activities

Greg serves on the board of various organizations and initiatives. Greg currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Texas Medical Center—the world’s largest medical city. Greg also currently serves as the Vice President of the Houston Bar Association, and he sits on the Board of the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program.
