Blank Rome Represents Siemens Healthineers in Its Acquisition of Corindus Vascular Robotics

A Blank Rome team represented Siemens Healthineers in its approx. $1.1 billion acquisition of Corindus Vascular Robotics, Inc. (NYSE: CVRS), a publicly traded, global technology leader for robotic-assisted vascular interventions. The deal closed on October 29, 2019.

Initially, the parties were negotiating a complex strategic collaboration and minority investment transaction. These negotiations ultimately led to a full-blown acquisition of the target.
