Biography

Jennifer Daniels provides counsel on regulatory and general corporate law matters. She serves a wide range of clients in areas such as:

  • U.S. and global privacy and data protection compliance
  • regulatory matters

  • pharmaceutical company contracting
  • in-licensing agreements
  • facility licensing

Her regulatory practice includes counseling on select advertising matters, including substantiation, deceptive advertising, on-line behavioral advertising, testimonials and endorsements, telemarketing, CAN-SPAM compliance and privacy.

Experience

  • Several international pharmaceutical and device companies, developed and implemented global privacy and security compliance programs.
  • A global generic pharmaceutical company, day-to-day contracting including manufacturing, supply, distribution, and consulting agreements.
  • A generic pharmaceutical manufacturer, in a $45 million acquisition of worldwide assets related to a brand name drug.
  • A medical device company, in connection with its recapitalization by a leading private equity fund.

Jennifer currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute Foundation, and is the co-leader of Life Sciences Affinity Group of the Health Information Technology Practice Group of the American Health Lawyers Association. She also authored Applying Basic Privacy Principles to the Use of RFID for the Food and Drug Law Institute's Update Magazine 2005, Issue 4 and contributed the health law privacy chapter to Data Security and Privacy Law: Combating Cyberthreats, West Group, 2002.
