Michael Joseph

Biography

Since his 2011 retirement, Michael Joseph has been an active participant in the firm’s pro bono program, focusing most of his efforts in assisting foreign nationals seeking asylum in the United States. As a result of his commitment to pro bono, he was named to the 2017 and 2018 Capital Pro Bono Honor Rolls, in recognition of his significant hours of service.

Prior to retirement, Mike concentrated his practice on corporate and securities transactions and federal regulatory litigation. He was a founding partner of Dyer, Ellis & Joseph, a 42-attorney Washington D.C.-based corporate and maritime boutique law firm that merged with Blank Rome in 2003.
