John T. Winton

Biography

John T. Winton concentrates his practice on all aspects of corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities matters.

John was previously a summer associate at Blank Rome in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, John worked for the New York State Senate and as the Political Director for various local political campaigns in the Hudson Valley.

During law school, John was a negotiation team competitor and the business editor of the Dispute Resolution Society, an associate editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal, and president of the Fordham Irish Law Students Association. He was also a student in the Securities Arbitration and Litigation Clinic, as well as the Rule of Law Clinic studying legal issues in Ireland.

Outside the Firm

John was a captain of the Vassar College men’s rugby team, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history, with a minor in economics. He is also a musician who was previously the saxophonist in a Bruce Springsteen tribute band.
