Alexander J. Dondershine

Biography

Alexander J. Dondershine concentrates his practice on a wide range of corporate matters, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Private equity transactions and portfolio company representation
  • Strategic investments and joint ventures
  • Franchise matters, including counseling on regulatory compliance, franchise disclosure documents, and franchise agreements
  • Commercial agreements
  • General corporate, partnership, and limited liability company matters (including entity formation and planning) and governance

Alex previously was a summer associate at Blank Rome. Prior to joining Blank Rome, he worked as a legal field clinician for the New York Department of Financial Services, a legal intern for the New York City Transit Authority, and a law clerk for a Virginia-based law firm.

During law school, Alex served as a staff editor and an articles editor for the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution.

Professional Activities

Among other pro bono commitments, Alex is dedicated to advancing social justice through his work with Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity. In this role, he provides free legal representation to low-income Philadelphia residents whose criminal records present barriers to employment, housing, and other opportunities.
