Blank Rome Welcomes New General Litigation Associate in Pittsburgh

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Samantha L. Kovalyak has joined the firm’s Pittsburgh office in the General Litigation group.

Samantha joins Blank Rome from Horne Daller LLC. She focuses her practice on employment litigation, assisting clients on various issues pertaining to employment discrimination, non-compete agreements, wage disputes, securities fraud, defamation, breach of contract, wrongful discharge, and intentional interference with contractual relations.

Iannucci, Partner and Co-Chair of Blank Rome’s General Litigation practice group. “Her litigation experience, notably in the critical area of labor and employment law, will be of great benefit to our team and clients.”

Samantha’s addition further bolsters the national presence of the firm’s General Litigation group, which recently welcomed senior attorney Hilary F. Korman in New York as well as associates Anna E. Currier in Wilmington, Amanda M. Noonan in Chicago, Allen Ho and Saam Takaloo in Los Angeles, Lee M. Begelman, Triston “Chase” O’Savio, and Robert C. Levicoff in Philadelphia, Jill Lipman Beck and Ashlyn M. Grim in Pittsburgh, and M. David Tambussi in Princeton.

Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Samantha received her J.D. cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law, and her B.S. magna cum laude from Robert Morris University. Samantha previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Valarie Costanzo at the Washington County Court of Common Pleas and as a litigation law clerk for the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Law. Upon law school graduation, Samantha was inducted into The Order of Barristers and currently serves as a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
