Travis J. Cuomo

Biography

Travis Cuomo concentrates his practice on business and corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, partnership, and limited liability company matters, and securities offerings. He is also experienced in corporate restructurings, asset sales, and other insolvency matters, and has worked with clients in a variety of industries.

During law school, Travis served as a legal intern for the Women’s Tennis Association in St. Petersburg, Florida, and an intern in the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit of the City of Philadelphia Office of the District Attorney. He was an associate editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law School’s Journal of International Law, executive vice president of the Penn Law Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and an advocate for the Youth Advocacy Project and the Criminal Record Expungement Project.

Outside the Firm

Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and their two dogs. When not with his family, Travis likes to golf with friends or hang out with his little brother as a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

  • Co-counsel to debtors that operated one of the nation’s largest online real estate rental businesses.
  • Debtors’ lead counsel for an aerospace components manufacturing company.
  • Counsel to debtor that was a wholesale originator of subprime residential mortgages, and to the special committee of the debtor’s board of directors.
