Biography
Ori Portnoy serves as Blank Rome’s Chief Legal Talent Officer. In this role, Ori leads the talent management function for all of the firm’s attorneys, focusing on recruiting, professional development, career advancement, and compensation. He works closely with firm leadership, the Associates Committee, and other business professionals across the firm to further Blank Rome’s strategic objectives.
Ori joined Blank Rome in January 2013, after returning from a year-long “honeymoon sabbatical” to 20 countries on four continents. Prior to that, he worked for several years as a litigation attorney at a major international law firm in New York City.
Ori received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Columbia University, with an honors degree in Political Science. He is a member of the New York Bar.
