Blank Rome Ranked Number One in The American Lawyer’s 2022 Summer Associates Survey
Blank Rome LLP was ranked as the number one law firm nationally for summer associate satisfaction in The American Lawyer’s 2022 Summer Associates Satisfaction Survey, which asks summer associates employed by the nation’s largest law firms to examine various aspects of job satisfaction. With over 96 percent of Blank Rome’s summer associates participating in the survey, the firm earned an average five out of five satisfaction score.
Blank Rome’s top ranking was based on summer associates’ satisfaction with "partner access and mentorship, interactions with other associates, interesting legal work, and firms’ alignment with their own stated goals and self-image." The survey also focused on work environments, mental health resources, firm culture, and firm-wide retreats and events. Blank Rome was previously recognized as one of the top five law firms nationally for summer associate satisfaction in the 2021 survey.
Blank Rome also recently received top-tier rankings in the 2022 Midlevel Associates Survey, earning a high satisfaction score on 12 aspects of job satisfaction, including “compensation and benefits; training and guidance; relations with partners and other associates; interest in and satisfaction level with the work; the firm’s policy on billable hours; and management’s openness about firm strategies and partnership chances.”
