Emily Anderson concentrates her practice on business finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy matters, including providing counsel in the areas of:
- Cash-flow and asset-based financing
- Secured transactions
- Acquisition financing
- Mezzanine financing
- Commercial lending
Emily primarily represents banks, commercial finance companies, mezzanine lenders, and other institutional lenders and borrowers.
During law school, Emily served as an investment management intern at one of the largest financial services companies in the United States, as well as interning in the compliance department of a premier credit rating agency.
Prior to law school, Emily graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a dual degree in Materials Science & Engineering and Engineering & Public Policy. She utilizes her educational background to counsel clients through critical thinking and reasoning.
Outside the Firm
Emily is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan,enjoys reading mystery novels, and playing pickleball and paddle tennis.
