Blank Rome’s Charles Marion Completes Term as President of Wharton Club of Philadelphia
Blank Rome partner Charles S. Marion completed his three-year term as the president of the Wharton Club of Philadelphia, the local alumni club for the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, on June 30, 2022. Chuck was elected president of the Wharton Club of Philadelphia in July 2018.
Chuck is a member of Wharton’s Class of 1986 and, along with his role of president, previously served as the Club’s treasurer and chair of the Club’s Alumni Networking Breakfast. The Wharton Club of Philadelphia serves one of the largest regional groups of Wharton graduates in the country, offering a variety of programs and services to meet the wide range of interests of their diverse members across a broad spectrum of careers and industries.
At Blank Rome, Chuck focuses his practice in the areas of complex business litigation, franchise litigation and counseling, litigation matters under the Americans with Disabilities Act, defamation, and intellectual property litigation. As an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Chuck co-chairs the Franchise Law Committee; he also previously chaired its Federal Courts Committee, led several investigative teams for its Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, served on a special task force studying the economic impact of lawyers on the City of Philadelphia, and was an elected member of the executive committee of the Young Lawyers’ Division.
