Blank Rome’s Charles Marion Elected President of Wharton Club of Philadelphia

Blank Rome Partner Charles S. Marion has been elected to serve as the new president of the Wharton Club of Philadelphia, the local alumni club for the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of Wharton’s Class of ’86 and, prior to his newly elected role of president, Charles served as board vice president and chair of the Club’s Alumni Networking Breakfast.

The Wharton Club of Philadelphia serves one of the largest regional groups of Wharton graduates in the country, offering a variety of programs and services to meet the wide range of interests of their diverse members across a broad spectrum of careers and industries.

At Blank Rome, Charles focuses his practice in the areas of franchise litigation, complex business litigation, intellectual property litigation, and website accessibility and other litigation brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Long active with the Philadelphia Bar Association, Charles is past chair of its Federal Courts Committee, led several investigative teams for its Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, served on a special task force studying the economic impact of lawyers on the City of Philadelphia, and was an elected member of the executive committee of the Young Lawyers’ Division.
