Blank Rome Welcomes New Labor & Employment Associate in Washington, D.C.

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Garrett P. Buttrey has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C., office in the Labor & Employment practice group, which was recently highly ranked in Benchmark Litigation 2023.

Garrett joins Blank Rome from Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP. He focuses his practice on litigating a wide range of labor and employment matters before federal and state courts, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other misconduct; unfair labor practices; restrictive covenant agreements; and wage and hour violations. Garrett also has notable experience in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, counseling clients through day-to-day employment decisions and policy implementations, and conducting workplace investigations into claims of employee misconduct, disciplinary actions, workplace safety, and wage and hour compliance.

Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Tennessee, Garrett received his J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Tennessee. During law school, Garrett served as the developments editor for the George Mason Law Review.
