Blank Rome Welcomes New Corporate Litigation Associate in Houston

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Juliana D. Shaw has joined the firm’s Houston office in the Corporate Litigation practice group, which recently welcomed the Honorable Judith J. Gische as senior counsel.

Juliana continues the strategic growth of Blank Rome’s Houston office, which has expanded over the past two years with the arrival of finance partners Sarah H. Frazier and Cassandra G. Mott, who currently serves as co-chair of the firm’s Houston office, commercial litigation partner Gregory J. Moore, and corporate partners Nina Bianchi Skinner and C. Brendan Cummings, as well as additional leading counsel, associates, and patent agents.

Juliana concentrates her practice on a wide range of corporate litigation matters. Prior to joining Blank Rome, Juliana served as an assistant district attorney in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony criminal cases and was a member of the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Unit. Juliana previously worked as an appellate law clerk for the Honorable Justice Ive A. Swan at the Supreme Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands and as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Renee, Gumbs Carty at the Superior Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Admitted to practice in Texas, Juliana received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Howard University. During law school, Juliana was inducted into the Order of Barristers, served as an associate editor for the Thurgood Marshall Law Review, and was a research assistant.
