Blank Rome Represents Ryder System, Inc. in Its Acquisition of Baton Trucking, Inc.
A Blank Rome team represented Ryder System, Inc., a leader in supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions, in connection with its acquisition of Baton Trucking Inc., a San Francisco-based start-up known for the development of a proprietary logistics technology focused on optimizing transportation networks. The acquisition is an extension of Ryder’s collaboration with Baton, after Ryder’s corporate venture capital fund RyderVentures invested in the tech firm early last year. The transaction closed on August 31, 2022.
