Blank Rome Welcomes New Real Estate Of Counsel in Philadelphia

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Jared N. Klein has joined the Firm’s Real Estate group as Of Counsel in the Philadelphia office.

Jared joins the Firm from Orphanides & Toner LLP. He has over a decade of experience notably representing some of Philadelphia’s leading educational institutions, businesses, and individuals on real estate, zoning and land use, commercial, and business litigation matters. He regularly appears before the City of Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustment to assist real estate developers in obtaining zoning variances for their projects, and serves as counsel to several real estate developers in the Philadelphia region, assisting with their contract, zoning, employment, and general business needs.

In addition to his real estate practice, Jared handles a wide variety of business and appellate litigation and has successfully litigated three cases that established binding precedent throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Jared received his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He previously served as president (2016–2017) and vice president and zoning chair (2013–2015) of the Passyunk Square Civic Association. He also served as a board and executive committee member for the Center City Residents’ Association as well as a member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia.
