Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Of Counsel Stephen H. Alpert and Jill Mindlin, along with Associates Tyler Mullen and Alexandra Wysocki and their long-time paralegal Kareem Ansley, have joined the Firm’s Finance, Restructuring, and Bankruptcy group, which also recently welcomed leading finance partners Mitchell M. Brand and Harris J. Diamond and now has nearly 70 attorneys throughout the United States. Stephen, Jill, and Kareem join Mitch and Harris in the Firm’s New York office, which relocated last month after 40 years from the Chrysler Building to the iconic 1271 Avenue of the Americas near Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan. Tyler and Alexandra are both based in the Firm’s Philadelphia office. All seven members of the team join Blank Rome from Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP.

Stephen and Jill focus on secured asset-based and cash flow financing transactions, loan workouts and restructurings, and liquidations. Their extensive finance experience ranges from advising on syndicated credit facilities to M&A financings, multi-tranche split collateral, first-lien/second-lien senior and subordinated debt, intercreditor agreements, cross-border financings, Chapter 11 DIP, and Chapter 11 exit financings. Their clients include major money center banks, foreign banks and their U.S. subsidiaries, investment banks, commercial finance companies, asset-based lenders of national and regional standing, and hedge funds.
Stephen earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College. He is a member of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys and the Dartmouth Lawyers Association. Outside of his legal practice, Stephen serves as vice chairman of the board of directors for the Stamford Symphony Orchestra in Connecticut. Jill earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys, Commercial Finance Association, New York Institute of Credit, and Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”), where she also serves on TMA NOW, their Network of Women committee.
Tyler and Alexandra concentrate on a range of finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy matters, notably including asset-based and real estate lending and numerous other finance transactions. Tyler earned his J.D., cum laude, from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, where he served as senior editor for the Penn State Law Review, and his B.A., high honors and cum laude, from Davidson College. Alexandra earned her J.D., cum laude, from Drexel University, Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she served as lead editor for the Drexel Law Review, and her B.S. from James Madison University. She previously served as a judicial intern to the Honorable M. Teresa Sarmina of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and as a fellow for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.
