Blank Rome Named 2021 Pennsylvania Powerhouse by Law360
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that our firm has been named a 2021 Pennsylvania Powerhouse by Law360, which recognized Blank Rome in its 2021 Regional Powerhouses list for handling “some of the biggest deals and most high-profile courtroom battles,” offering clients “regional expertise and making a lasting impact on the law at the state and local level.”
Blank Rome is one of five Pennsylvania Powerhouse firms recognized for their outstanding work in Pennsylvania over the past year and for “taking advantage of a rich and diverse economic landscape to stay ahead of the game in the Keystone State’s mature and highly competitive legal market.” Law360 particularly noted that all of this year’s Pennsylvania Powerhouses either maintain a presence or are headquartered in Philadelphia, “which has been a growing market in recent years thanks to being between the legal epicenters of New York and Washington, D.C.,” and that three of the five Pennsylvania Powerhouses, including Blank Rome, maintain offices in Pittsburgh, “where the energy industry continues to dominate.” Law360 further indicated that “a boom in Philadelphia’s real estate market in recent years” has also helped to drive business for firms, and commended Blank Rome’s successful representation of more than 100 commercial property owners challenging the constitutionality of the city’s tax assessment practices.
