Blank Rome Represents FirstElement Fuel, Inc. In Closing $105M Series D Capital Raise Round
A Blank Rome team represented FirstElement Fuel, Inc. (“FEF”), the world’s largest hydrogen retailer, in successfully closing a $105 million Series D capital raise round, its largest round of private capital raised thus far. The transaction closed on November 2, 2021.
FEF is a California-based company that began as a start-up in 2013 focused on establishing a hydrogen refueling network. The company opened its first True Zero brand retail hydrogen station in December 2015 and, since then, has opened the largest number of Liquid Hydrogen stations in the state, now actively building out its California Hydrogen Network from 31 True Zero stations to 80 stations by 2024.
