Biography

Ekinsu Çebi Elkei concentrates her practice on cross-border litigation and arbitration. She represents clients in investment and commercial arbitration disputes under a range of arbitral rules (including ICSID, UNCITRAL, PCA, and ICC) across media, mining, construction, and infrastructure sectors.

Ekinsu has experience representing state-owned entities, diplomatic missions, and private companies and individuals in variety of litigation including civil fraud, breaches of contract, business torts, and judgment collection actions, as well as sovereign immunity matters under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Ekinsu practices sanctions law as well, and she advises international clients in navigating complex primary and secondary sanctions issues.

Outside the Firm

Ekinsu enjoys traveling and never passes up the chance to hike or ski.
