Blank Rome Welcomes New Matrimonial and Family Law Associate in New York
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Alexa B. Lutchen has joined the firm’s New York office in the Matrimonial & Family Law practice group, which recently welcomed partner Sophie Jacobi-Parisi.
Alexa joins Blank Rome from Davis Polk & Wardwell. She has notable experience handling family court disputes, along with pro bono matters, including winning a family law appeal in the NY Supreme Court Appellate Division – Second Department, representing a client in a Hague Convention custody case, and litigating an abuse and neglect trial.
Admitted to practice in New York, Alexa received her J.D. from Yale Law School, and her B.A. magna cum laude from Williams College. During law school, Alexa served as an intern at Legal Aid’s Juvenile Rights Practice and the Office of the Legal Counsel at the New York City Department of Education. She also won the Florence M. Kelley Family Law Prize in recognition of her work in Yale Law School’s Advocacy for Children and Youth Clinic.
