Blank Rome Honored for “Most Innovative Deal of the Year” at The Deal Awards Europe
Blank Rome was honored at "The Deal Awards Europe" for its significant role in Paddy Power Betfair’s notable merger of U.S. operations with FanDuel, which was named the The Deal’s “Most Innovative Deal of the Year.” The Firm, the combined company, and the investment advisers and outside counsel who worked on the deal were recognized at an awards ceremony held Thursday, November 1, at Aqua Shard in London.
The Deal’s inaugural European awards recognizes leading international lawyers, bankers, and investors in cross-border dealmaking. The “Most Innovative Deal of the Year” category honors the deal that most significantly transformed a company or industry, with at least one party with an interest in Europe or the UK.
