The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Global, in partnership with Blank Rome LLP, presents the 2021 ACC Global CLO Survey Results Roundtable Series. Each 60-minute session of this four-part series will feature a Blank Rome LLP partner and Fortune 500 Chief Legal Officers who will deliver their timely insights and informative takeaways from the results of the recent 2021 Chief Legal Officers Survey.
SESSION I: The Chief Legal Officer’s Role and Reach
In this first session of the 2021 ACC Global CLO Survey Results Roundtable Series, the panel will provide the following takeaways:
- An overview of the role and reach of the CLO within the broader organization and the basic organizational structure of the legal department in relation to the business.
- Analysis of CLOs who have a direct reporting line to the chief executive officer and the board of directors, what corporate functions are overseen by legal, and how the responsibility for managing legal risk is shared.
- A general outlook into department’s current situation, with CLOs expectations on forthcoming staff changes as well as changes in sourcing work.
