Blank Rome partner Margaret Anne Hill will serve as a panelist for Environmental Law Institute’s (“ELI”) “An Introduction to Careers in Environmental Law and Policy,” the first session in this year’s ELI Summer School Series, being held Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., in Washington, D.C.

ABOUT THE SESSION

The Summer School Series begins an introduction to the many exciting career opportunities in various sectors of environmental law and policy. This session offers the chance for budding environmental professionals to ask questions and interact with leaders working in environmental law and policy fields. Faculty will dive into their career journeys and share advice with participants. These panelists represent a diverse range of employment areas, such as: nonprofit, government, corporate, think-tank, private practice, and other sectors.

ABOUT ELI SUMMER SCHOOL

Each summer, ELI convenes a complimentary seminar series that offers an introduction to the legal and policy foundations of environmental protection in the United States. ELI's Summer School is a series of seminars taught by experts in their fields, introducing the audience to important areas of environmental law, including the Clean Air Act; Clean Water Act; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; Endangered Species Act; National Environmental Policy Act; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; climate change law; energy law; land use law; and environmental justice. Faculty will also incorporate major regulatory and judicial updates to the laws.
