Jayme Butcher and Ronald Frank Appointed Chairs of Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Committees and Sections

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Jayme L. Butcher and Ronald W. Frank, partners in the Firm’s Pittsburgh office, have taken leadership roles as chairs of committees and sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (“PBA”) for the 2019-2020 term. In its press release announcing these appointments, the PBA notes that “many of the association’s policies and positions prompting development of state laws and actions viewed as beneficial to the legal system, the courts, and the public result from actions initiated by the leaders and members of these groups.”

Jayme was named co-chair of the PBA Large Law Firm Committee, which studies and makes recommendations regarding membership development and retention of attorneys in large firms in Pennsylvania. The committee also develops programs and services to enhance the value of PBA membership. At Blank Rome, Jayme has built her practice helping clients in a wide variety of litigation matters. Active in the Pittsburgh community, she serves on the board of directors for the Sarah Heinz House and board of trustees for the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council for the United Way of Allegheny County as well as the National United Way Women's Leadership Council.

Ronald was named chair of the PBA International and Comparative Law Section, which focuses its efforts on monitoring treaties, immigration matters, and events related to the World Court. Members of this section typically work in multi-national corporations or are exposed to legal systems in foreign countries. At Blank Rome, Ronald concentrates his corporate practice on managing large, complicated financial projects for his clients. Active in the Pittsburgh community, he is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and sits on the board of directors of the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for International Legal Education.
