Exhibits LGBT&Q Newsletter
The Philadelphia LGBTQ Bar Association released its May–June 2021 newsletter edition of Exhibits LGBT&Q, which features updates and highlights from the association’s recent events, including its support of Asian American and Pacific Islander (“AAPI”) Heritage Month and Pride Month, as well as honors community members, LGBTQ+ artwork, and local Philadelphia LGBTQ+ history.
The newsletter also features Blank Rome’s co-sponsored AAPI Heritage Month program in May 2021 on Recognizing and Reckoning with Our Nation’s History of Anti-Asian Racism, moderated by Sophia Lee, Partner and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Emeritus, and the recent appointment of Krystal Kane, who serves as a pro bono attorney for our firm, to serve as co-chair of the association’s Social Justice and Volunteerism Committee.
