Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Crawford has joined the firm’s New York office as an associate in the Real Estate group, which recently welcomed leading hospitality and real estate partner Christy Reuter to chair its Hospitality group. Matt joins Blank Rome from Meister Seelig & Fein where he worked with Christy in their Real Estate and Hospitality groups.
Matt concentrates his practice on commercial leasing, representing both landlords and tenants of medium to large-scale retail, restaurant, office, and other commercial developments. He has a wealth of experience in advising real estate clients on the structuring and negotiation of their various disposition, acquisition, and financing transactions, and seeing those matters through to closing, as well as in analyzing title issues and other potentially problematic due diligence matters.
Matt is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, Florida, and New Jersey. He earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and his B.A. Political Science and Geography, magna cum laude, from Villanova University. He is a member of the New York State, New York City, Connecticut, Fairfield County, and Florida Bar Associations.
