Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association’s 110th Annual Clinical Assembly & Scientific Seminar

Blank Rome Partner Lawrence (Larry) Beaser as well as Associates Asima Ahmad and Maria Carnicella presented at the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association’s 110th Annual Clinical Assembly & Scientific Seminar, held May 2-5, 2018, at the Radisson Valley Forge and Valley Forge Event Center.

Larry and Asima presented on the topic of “Harassment in the #MeToo Era,” and Larry and Maria presented on the topic of “Florida Law Licensure Update: Federal and Florida Law Related to Prescribing Controlled Substances.” Larry also lectured, with representatives of the Support Center for Child Advocates, on the topic of “Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse in Pennsylvania.” These lectures provided continuing medical education for physicians attending the seminar.

During the opening plenary session of the assembly, Larry was made an honorary member of the Association. He was presented with a certificate, which recognized him for his legal counsel to the organization for over 35 years, and praised him for his “untiring service, loyalty, and dedication” to the osteopathic medical profession.
