Blank Rome of counsel Evan Jason Zucker will serve as an instructor for the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid’s (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid) Master in Business Restructuring program, being held January 28 to July 9, 2022, in Madrid, Spain.
Evan’s session “International Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency: An Overview of the United States Insolvency Regime as a Tool for Foreign Debtors,” will take place on Friday, June 3.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This program encompasses a broad and specialized concept of both international (company groups with parent companies and/or subsidiaries in Spain and other countries) and national restructurings.
The speakers will offer a practical approach and thanks to its diversity, the program will be completely transversal, addressing the most relevant aspects of a restructuring process (economic-financial issues, how to combine the interests of all the stakeholders involved in a restructuring or bankruptcy proceedings, the legal procedure and its development, as well as commercial, international, and technology issues arising from insolvency proceedings).
The intention of the program is that the specialization of the students allows them to contribute to the survival of the companies that make up our business fabric (even more necessary, if possible, in an environment of economic crisis such as the current one).
