Blank Rome Partners Mary Craig Calkins, Jared Zola, and Natasha Romagnoli and Associate Robyn L. Michaelson will be presenters at the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s 2020 Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar, being held March 4 through 7, 2020, in Tucson, Arizona.
This four-day seminar will feature presentations by leading lawyers and insurance professionals on the latest developments in insurance law and will include informative plenary, breakout, and roundtable programs; networking sessions; and a variety of outdoor activities.
Mary will speak at the first Plenary Session on Thursday, March 5. The session, “The Top Ten (or so) Coverage Decisions of 2019: Their Impact for 2020 and Beyond,” will take place from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
Later that day, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., Jared and Robyn will participate in the one-hour Breakout Sessions “Statute of Limitations Waiver Legislation and Coverage for Abuse Claims/Lifting the Bar: Negotiating Coverage for Sex Abuse Claims and Navigating Bankruptcy Resulting from Statute of Limitations Legislation” and “Claims Handling: Discovery and Privilege Disputes,” respectively.
Natasha’s Plenary Session, “Coverage Arguments That May Work Well in Litigation but Don’t Work Well in Mediation,” will be the first session of the day on Friday, March 6, taking place from 8:00 to 9:10 a.m., immediately following breakfast.
