Susan Kuruvilla

Biography

Susan Kuruvilla concentrates her practice on financial institutions litigation and regulatory compliance matters, with a particular focus on representing mortgage loan servicers, lenders, and other financial institutions in all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution.

Susan has notable experience litigating complex commercial actions concerning lender liability, consumer fraud, and violations of federal and state consumer protection statutes and regulations.

Prior to joining Blank Rome, Susan served as an associate at a nationally recognized law firm. She assisted clients with the acquisition and disposition of businesses, commercial real estate closings, and defending high casualty and large exposure labor law cases on behalf of owners, developers, and general contractors.

Susan is a member of the Young Alumni Advisory & Pro Bono Council for the Center for International Business and Human Rights at OU Law. Before starting her legal career, Susan served as co-founder of a healthcare clinic that focused on access to basic care to rural communities in India.
