Philip M. Tatarowicz Shares Comments on the Multistate Tax Commission’s Public Law 86-272 Project
Blank Rome Of Counsel Philip M. Tatarowicz, who serves as a member of the Firm’s State + Local Tax group and also as a professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, submitted comments cautioning the Multistate Tax Commission (“MTC”) to delay approval of the proposed revisions to the MTC's model statement of information concerning practices of MTC and signatory states under Public Law 86-272 until additional data can be gathered, analyzed, and shared with all concerned, ideally after the COVID-19 crisis has passed.
