Blank Rome Welcomes Labor & Employment Associate in Houston

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Alix L. Udelson has joined the Firm’s Houston office as an associate in the Labor & Employment group, which welcomed Ted D. Meyer as a partner in the same office last month. Alix and Ted both join the Firm from Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. Their additions continue to grow the Firm’s national labor and employment practice, which has significantly expanded this year with the additions of Amy N. Williamson as of counsel in Pittsburgh and numerous associates in Philadelphia and Los Angeles.

Alix Udelson is experienced in defending employers in state and federal court litigation and arbitration proceedings, and before administrative agencies, in a wide range of employment law claims, including those involving discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, failure to hire, and wrongful termination. She routinely devises and reviews employment guidelines and policies, as well as employment agreements and restrictive covenants. She also regularly works with human resources and in-house legal departments to address an array of workplace legal issues, including investigations into claims of workplace impropriety, leaves of absence, disciplinary actions, workplace safety, reductions in force, and wage and hour compliance.

Admitted to practice in Texas, Alix earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
