Neil F. Young Presented with Blank Rome’s Pro Bono Rising Star Award

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that associate Neil F. Young was presented with the firm’s annual Pro Bono Rising Star Award, which recognizes an associate whose dedication to pro bono has had a tremendous impact on pro bono clients and the firm.

Neil has been an active member of Blank Rome’s pro bono program for many years and has worked on several pro bono matters, primarily focusing on eviction prevention, family law, and immigration issues.

Participating in the Houston Volunteer Lawyers’ “Attorney-of-the-Day” program, Neil advised and represented tenants in danger of losing their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also has handled family-law matters referred through the firm’s civil legal clinic at the Spring Branch Family Development Center and has assisted with asylum cases through the firm’s partnership with Kids in Need of Defense.
