Blank Rome’s Princeton Office Named The American Lawyer’s 2018 Regional Litigation Department of the Year

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that the Firm’s Princeton office was named New Jersey's “Regional Litigation Department of the Year” at the 2018 American Lawyer Industry Awards, held on Wednesday night in New York City. This has been a banner year for the Princeton office, which was also named a 2018 New Jersey Powerhouse by Law360 in recognition of its accomplishments in regulatory and litigation fronts.

The inaugural American Lawyer Industry Awards celebrated outstanding achievements in the legal profession and reflected on a year full of change, growth, and innovation. The American Lawyer published an article highlighting the significant accomplishments of this year’s Industry Award winners, which can be found here.

Of Blank Rome’s Princeton litigation practice, the publication said:

More than 30 years ago, Blank Rome became the first out-of-state firm to open an office in New Jersey, and today the firm has established itself as a litigation leader in the Garden State. Over the past couple of years, the firm helped TGI Friday’s overturn a 13-million-member class certification in a case over drink pricing, secured a precedential decision on personal jurisdiction on behalf of WolfBlock, successfully defended PennyMac Loan Services from a consumer class action, and received favorable settlements for pro bono clients in civil rights cases.

“We are honored to be named The American Lawyer’s Regional Litigation Department of the Year for New Jersey, and to be part of this distinct group of firms that demonstrate the excellent litigation work being done across the country,” said Stephen M. Orlofsky, Administrative Partner of the Firm’s Princeton office and former U.S. District Judge for the District of New Jersey. “Our Princeton office is committed to providing unparalleled legal services for our business clients that will continue to have a lasting impact on the law at the state and local levels in the years to come.”
