This panel will cover Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 30(b)(6) depositions and VIP depositions. After completing this session, participants will be able to:
- Prepare for Rule 30(b)(6) depositions and understand the pitfalls and possibilities they present
- Draft (and object to) Rule 30(b)(6) topics
- Prepare senior executives for a deposition
- Depose senior executives
Specialized Deposition Skills
This panel will cover various specialized deposition skills. After completing this session, participants will be able to:
- Manage the most challenging witnesses (or attorneys)
- Conduct deposition negotiations with your adversary
- Make and respond to objections
- Navigate remote depositions
