Small Business Legal Issues: A Training for Volunteer Attorneys

Blank Rome Partners Brooke T. Iley, T. Malcolm Sandilands, and Jon Grossman, and Associate Ross E. Coe will lead the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center “Small Business Legal Issues: A Training for Volunteer Attorneys” program on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Blank Rome’s Washington, D.C., office.

The purpose of this free training session is to expand the pool of lawyers prepared to provide pro bono assistance to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs through the Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinics.

This training program will focus on business formation, real estate issues, intellectual property considerations, and employment law as they relate to the unique circumstances of small neighborhood-based businesses.

The training is open to all attorneys and specifically encouraged for those who wish to volunteer at Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinics for the first time. Law students are also welcome to attend.
