Secured Finance Network 76th Annual Convention: This Way Forward

Online Virtual Event

Blank Rome Partners Regina Stango Kelbon and Kenneth J. Ottaviano will be speakers at the Secured Finance Network (“SFNet”) 76th Annual Convention: This Way Forward, being held November 17 through 19, 2020, as a live online virtual event.

Blank Rome is pleased to be a Diamond-Level sponsor of the conference, whose theme this year is “This Way Forward.” The virtual conference will bring together top industry leaders to provide invaluable insights, including, by popular demand, the return of the View from the Top series with large bank and independent asset-based lending leaders addressing the current situation, which is unlike anything we have ever seen before, plus a new View from the Top, “Lessons Learned and Looking Ahead—Factoring.”

The conference will feature four keynote speakers

  • Gen. James Mattis, Retired United States Marine Corps General and former U.S. Secretary of Defense
  • Ayesha Rascoe, White House Reporter, NPR
  • Danielle DiMartino Booth, CEO & Chief Strategist, Quill Intelligence LLC
  • David A. Brandon, Chairman of the Board, Domino’s Pizza, Inc.

Ken’s session, “Healthcare Lending—Opportunities & Risks,” will take place Tuesday, November 17, from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. EST, and the panelists will discuss how successful healthcare lenders manage their business from underwriting through portfolio management to recovery.

Later that day, Regina will speak on the “Workouts & Bankruptcies—What Is the New Normal?” panel, which starts at 1:30 p.m. EST. The panel will cover how the pandemic has changed how everyone deals with workouts; how to prepare for a workout; productive/effective methods; the difference in workouts between small, mid-sized and large companies; and considering other alternatives when a consensual workout isn’t working.
