Blank Rome associate Christopher Cody Wilcoxson will serve as a panelist for the NACDA NIL Educational Seminar at the 2023 NACDA & Affiliates Convention, being held June 11 through 14, 2023, in Orlando, Florida.

Cody’s session, “Rebutting the Presumption of a Violation,” will take place on Wednesday, June 14, from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m., and he will be joined on the panel by moderator Kristi Dosh, founder of Business of College Sports, and Mit Winter, attorney at Kennyhertz Perry.

ABOUT THE SESSION

A legal panel discussing best practices for university administrators in rebutting the new enforcement presumption whereby a name, image, likeness (“NIL”) violation is presumed to have occurred “if circumstantial information suggests that one or more parties engaged in impermissible conduct.”
