Los Angeles Virtual Women’s Entrepreneurship Day: Employment Law Legal Aid

Blank Rome attorney Natalie Alameddine will serve as a presenter for Los Angeles Virtual Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Celebration, Friday, November 19, 2021. Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Los Angeles City Council declared November 19 to be Women’s Entrepreneurship Day in Los Angeles and Mayor Garcetti will present a keynote speech during the event.

Natalie, in coordination with Bet Tzedek, a non-profit law firm committed to providing provide free, comprehensive legal assistance and representation; volunteer and court-based self-help services; and legal education to the most vulnerable among us, will present “Employment Law Legal Aid” as part of the Office Hours portion of the program. Office Hours will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. and offer attendees an opportunity to ask questions on a number of topics. Natalie will focus on protecting your business in the following areas:

  • COVID-19 protocols and vaccine policies
  • Hiring, managing & terminating employees
  • Wage and hour issues (including classifications)
  • And more!

The goal of the Los Angeles Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Celebration is to inspire, empower, and catalyze diverse, yet like-minded individuals, agencies, and organizations to help women-owned businesses realize their full potential in Los Angeles and throughout the world. It is a unique opportunity for current and aspiring entrepreneurs to create meaningful connections, get expert advice and information, and gather the support and resources necessary to set themselves up for success.
