A Look Back at Tennessee Wine and Spirits Retailers Assoc. v. Thomas + Current & Future Litigation

Blank Rome Partner Deborah Skakel will serve as a panelist for the 14th Annual Alcohol Law and Policy Conference, being held August 29 through 31, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois.

Debbie’s panel, “A Look Back at Tennessee Wine and Spirits Retailers Assoc. v. Thomas + Current & Future Litigation” will take place Monday, August 30, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., and will look at the challenges and obstacles in arguing the Tennessee Wine case and examine the nearly ten other constitutional challenges to state laws winding their way through the federal court system today. The panel will also offer analysis and commentary on the status of current alcohol challenges, lessons from the past, and possible direction for the future with regards to judicial challenges to state alcohol law.
