Blank Rome Associate Heidi G. Crikelair will help lead the Philadelphia VIP training program, Help Philadelphians Avoid Homelessness, taking place as an online webinar on March 17, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. EDT.
Over 90 percent of tenants in Philadelphia lack representation in their eviction hearings, while over 80 percent of landlords have attorneys to represent their interests. This training aims to equip volunteers with the tools needed to expand access to justice in this critical area.
Heidi will be joined by Vijaya Singh of Philadelphia VIP and Kadeem Morris of Community Legal Services to provide an overview of landlord-tenant law and practical information for representing a client in a landlord-tenant dispute in the Philadelphia courts.
