Blank Rome Partner Lisa Casey Spaniel and Associates Bradford C. Craig and Samar Aryani-Sabet will speak at the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and FringeArts “Fringe Festival Webinar #2” taking place on Monday, May 24, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
Lisa, Brady, and Samar will discuss intellectual property (“IP”) and copyright, giving a broad overview of copyright and related issues, with particular emphasis on digital content. The webinar is one of a series of events where Fringe Festival artists can learn about IP and other legal issues and have the opportunity to ask presenters questions.
Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (“PVLA”) is a non-profit legal services organization that has been working to support arts, culture and creativity in the greater Philadelphia area for over 40 years. By offering pro bono legal referrals, consultations and educational services to under-resourced artists, arts & cultural nonprofits and creative small businesses, PVLA continues to provide much-needed access to justice for members of Philadelphia's creative sector, supporting growth and development of the city's vibrant and dynamic arts community.
