Blank Rome and Robert Morris University Host Event Honoring Coach Bernard Clark

Blank Rome LLP and Robert Morris University (“RMU”) partnered to host a meet & greet event on June 20, honoring RMU’s new head football coach and former NFL player, Bernard Clark, Jr. The event was held in Blank Rome’s Pittsburgh office and focused on the rich culture of sports and community in the local area. In addition to Blank Rome and RMU staff, other influential business owners and executives from the Pittsburgh area were also in attendance.

Blank Rome Of Counsel Eddie Edwards kicked off the event with his opening remarks and James Barnes, administrative partner of the Firm’s Pittsburgh office, spoke about Blank Rome’s involvement and commitment to the local community. RMU President Dr. Chris Howard then shared about the academic success of the university and the values and strong work ethic instilled by Coach Clark and his staff.

As the night’s keynote speaker, Coach Clark conveyed the importance of his players becoming better sons, better fathers, and better people. He stated that the key to success is building relationships, and that his role goes beyond teaching these young men about football; it’s also about having a greater impact on the people in their lives and society.
